The Cohen Family Adventure Summer 2011: Zebula With Sarah & Lauren!!

Hi this is Dorian blogging here! We had so much fun in Zebula (Mabalingwe).

My favorite thing was the trail riding. We all got a horse that we rode for 2 hours. Mom's horse was named Jesse, Dad's horse was named Diego , Ari's horse was named Sandy, Josh's horse was named Roy, Sadie's horse was named Apathe, Pete's horse was named Monty, Sarah's horse was Robyn, Lauren's horse was named Kimray, and my horse was named Blitz. He is named Blitz because he was the fastest. Sadie's horse was slow and Josh's horse was the boss. Our trial guide was named Sunell. She was really nice and went fast over bumps in the land rover!!!!!

Another day, we went golfing, swimming, and saw a cheetah run at full speed of 70+ mph.

First, we went golfing. All of the kids except Ari, got a club and a bucket of golfballs. We went to the driving range and tried to hit them as far as we could.

Afterwards, we went swimming in a freezing cold pool and then jumped into a burning hot jacuzzi.

Finally, we went to the cheetah run!! The person giving information asked questions and if I got one right you would get a Zebula hat. The question was what was the advantage of having a black stripe under the cheetah's eyes. I knew the answer but Josh got chosen and he answered right, which was to protect their eyes from the sun. Josh picked a camouflage hat as his prize. I was pretty mad because I needed a hat. :-( The cheetah chased a thing on a pulley. It ran as far as a soccer field in about 3 or 4 seconds. It was awesome!!!
