On our second full day at The Madikwe Game Reserve we saw tons (literally!) of animals on our morning game drive, even more on our afternoon game drive, and we had a huge group of more than 2 dozen elephants visit our watering hole just before lunch. We even spotted some "wild game" at our hot tub!

This was the biggest bull elephant we saw on safari. He came down to drink at this pond while we were taking pictures of birds. |

We saw two brown hyena pups playing in the late-day sunshine at the entrance to their den. |
